Flowboxer of the month – July 2021: Footloose
As always, we love to honor Flowboxers who inspire brands to leverage user generated content (UGC) in creative ways to drive better business results — read on the story from the winner below to learn more about how they made it happen.
This month's theme is Toys, Hobbies & DIY! With many excellent entrants, Footloose’s all-around use of UGC in their channels caught our attention and was thus crowned July’s Flowboxer of the month. We know that the theme connection is a bit of a stretch, but shoe collecting can be a hobby, right? 😁
Footloose is a Peruvian footwear retailer that started its journey with their first store in 1997 in Lima, Peru, but back then under the name "Passarela". Today, they have a webshop and more than 90 physical stores nationwide. A lot has changed in the two decades since their launch, but Footloose has never stopped innovating to create an unforgettable shopping experience and to offer the best footwear for the whole family.
As far as Flowbox goes, Footloose has gone all out with Flows on nearly every page of their website. Footloose’s homepage features a carousel Flow featuring their products in real life; the authenticity shines through in the eye-catching, stunning visuals from their customers who love showing off their designs. When viewing a post in the Flow, visitors can get inspired to discover the tagged products, and clicking on the CTA button in the gate takes them to the specific product page. By implementing Instashop and Dynamic Product Flow, Footloose is one step closer to converting their visitors to paying customers.
By actively letting their customers know that they want them to share photos, tag them and use their hashtag #ViveFootloose, Footloose has successfully boosted their content Flow and then built a rich and engaging community page with our Dynamic Tag Flow.
Footloose has also made their customer experience more inspiring by displaying various Flows from the category page with filter buttons to the product page using our Dynamic Product Flow.
Lastly, as the cherry on top of all of these great displays of UGC, Footloose also suggests related products on their checkout page, right before the customers complete the payment.
We love both the idea and execution of the UGC on every single page on their ecommerce. We are so proud to be working with Footloose and are thrilled to see more amazing ways to build a strong and long-lasting community while boosting more revenue!
